PRIVACY STATEMENT BY MARLOES PHOTOGRAPHY: specialized in newborn photography

By Marloes Photography considers your privacy very important. I will therefore process and use your data in a secure manner, entirely in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. In this privacy statement I explain to you what information I collect from you and why I do this. You can also read in this statement what your rights are with regard to this processing. Article 1 Who am I?

By Marloes Photography is a sole proprietorship, established in (2801 VE) Gouda at Vest 63. I am registered in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce under number 70870438. I am the controller of your personal data.

Article 2 Which data do I use?

Here you can find an overview of the data that I process about you, why I do this, what legal basis I have to process this data from you and how long I will keep this data.

I process your name, address, place of residence, date of birth, telephone number, e-mail and other data that are necessary to optimally deliver my services to you. You can think of the special personal data that I process by putting you in the photo and your family composition. I use this information to make you a satisfied customer during the term of our agreement. I keep this data for 1 year.

To manage your order, I will keep your name, delivery address, billing address, email, telephone number, purchase history and payment details in my customer database for up to 7 years after the conclusion of our agreement. I do this by virtue of implementation and possible amendment of the agreement.

I use a portfolio on my website and social media channels to show previous work to potential clients. I will process your first name and photos in this if you have given permission for this by entering into the agreement. I keep these photos in my archive indefinitely until you request deletion.

For invoicing and financial administration I process your name, invoice address, bank details and outstanding balance. Without this information I cannot process your payment. I therefore need this information for the execution of the agreement. According to a legal obligation of the tax authorities, I have to keep this information for 7 years. After this period I will delete this information from you.

In the unlikely event that you have a complaint about my services, I will process your name, e-mail, telephone number and the content of this complaint in order to arrive at the best possible solution for you. I use this information for an optimal execution of the agreement. I will delete data regarding complaints after handling.

I have a commercial interest in using some of your personal data for marketing purposes. I process your email for direct marketing. I will delete this information as soon as you unsubscribe from my newsletter or indicate that you no longer wish to be contacted by me.

I use analytics services to enable and optimize this website. I have a commercial interest in using your surfing behavior and related data to analyze my service and improve it where necessary. I will track your use of our website with Google Analytics and am bound by Google's retention periods.

The analytics services use cookies. Cookies are small pieces of information that are sent to your browser when you visit this website and are then stored on the hard drive or in the memory of the device with which you visit my website. These cookies will not damage your devices.

If you want to contact me via the website, I ask for your name and e-mail. By sending the contact form, this information will automatically become visible to me. I delete the data from a sent contact form one year after the contact question has been completed, unless an agreement results from this.

Article 3 How do I obtain this information?

I have obtained the above information from you as a customer or website visitor, because you have provided this information to me. In addition, I may have obtained your data from one of my customers when you are also present during the shoot.

Article 4 What rights do you have with regard to this data?

The General Data Protection Regulation has given you a number of rights with regard to the personal data that you have processed by me.

  1. 1. Inspection - You can at any time make a request to By Marloes Photography to view your data.

  2. 2. Change - If you want to have your data adjusted, corrected, supplemented, protected or removed on the basis of access, you can submit a request for this.

  3. 3. Objection - You can object to the processing of your data.

  4. 4. Data transfer - If you want to transfer your data to another provider, I will provide your data in a structured and commonly used form that can be accessed by common digital systems.

  5. Withdrawal - If I have processed data on the basis of your explicit consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent. This may have consequences for the services I can provide you.

To exercise your rights, you can send a request to privacy@bymarloesphotography.nl. I will assess your request as soon as possible. If I cannot comply with your request, I will let you know why I am rejecting your request.

Article 5 Who receives your data?

By Marloes Photography will not provide your information to third parties, unless this is necessary for business operations or is required by a legal obligation. Your data can be passed on to processors and parties involved in our agreement for the execution of the agreement. I conclude processor agreements with these third parties to optimally protect your privacy. I will not sell your information to third parties.

Article 6 Final provisions

I recommend that you regularly consult this privacy statement as I can make changes to the policy.
