As you have probably already read, I am Marloes, hence By Marloes Photography. Now I can already hear you thinking, why in English and not in Dutch .. actually very simple. I really didn't think it sounded a lot :)

Below you can read a little more about me, so that you can get to know me a bit.

At the beginning of 2019 I became the mother of our beautiful son Viktor, so I live together with his dear dad, my support and anchor in our dream home in the city center of Gouda.

However, I have been photographing for a long time, once started with flowers and bees, then friends' babies and children came. In this way you roll from one thing to another. Babies, children and parents were therefore not entirely strange to me since I worked in childcare for years. This branch of photography was a very logical step for me, finally everything in 1 field!

Every year I follow at least 1 and preferably several workshops focused on newborn photography, professionalism, technique, etc., as a result of which I have already been able to participate in several workshops of national but also international (newborn) photographers to increase my knowledge and to change my creativity to give. I therefore assume that I never stop learning and I love to keep developing myself in order to be able to make the most beautiful images.

Photographing babies, children and pregnant women, I can put all my creativity into this! I think it is great to create beautiful images, photos that you will look at in 20 years with a feeling of pride.

In this time where so many photos are taken of all kinds of things, very few are hung in the house or viewed in a beautiful album. I want to change this! Because let's face it, don't you get happy when you come across old photos somewhere in a drawer? I do! And I am known for all the old photos that I come across. Good to keep, on my sideboard for example, so that I can look at it every day ♡

I am now a skilled, creative and patient photographer with an eye for detail. I am also easy to get along with parents, babies and children during the photo shoots.
